G.I.O. – Episode #1 “Cross Creek Road”

This is a mixed bag of 1st quarter 2002 Loveline for the most part, I was editing some new transfers and found these choice clips that aren’t too well known.

In upcoming eps you’ll want to stay tuned until the end of the clips for information about the show and the recordings used as well as new interviews and other extra material.

This ep is just clips from 2002-01-14 cast of Off Center(Eddie Kaye Thomas and Sean Maguire) and some other Jan 2002 but I don’t have notes on the exact dates.

G.I.O. – Episode #2 “The Rosa Parks incident”

so this ep is composed of LL from 2004/07/28 and 2004/07/29, Alex Borstein is the first guest with John Cho and Kal Penn in the second half, these two eps feature the Rosa Parks Incident and Apology. I threw in some extra bits from each ep, the 07/29 LL is one of my all time favorites and features some classic riffing that still holds up.I was able to record a 30 second intro for this but wasn’t able to conduct any interviews before I finished the edit. Next week’s ep (Tarantula Trilogy of Terror) will feature the 3 night Tarantula drama from summer 2003 and I’m going to try and get the interviews with Narren and or Unclepenny done in time to attach one of them to that ep, this is still a work in progress and until it’s perfected just enjoy the comedy from Ace, there will soon be longer wraparound segments and interviews to go along with most eps.

GIO Episode #3 Tarantula Trilogy of Terror

is composed of clips from July 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st 2003 as well as February 18th 2004. The Tarantula story took place over three nights in 2003, I’ve also included all the references about the incident from later eps, so this is really a best of 6 different episodes. I tried to trim as much as possible but there was so much gold in these 6 eps I couldn’t get it under 2hrs. Stay tuned for the end of the show there is a 25min conversation between Unclepenny and myself, it’s not comedy but for anyone who wants to know more about how all this started it might be interesting.

G.I.O. – Episode #4 The The Art of Brewing Volume 1

This ep contains clips from the 1999 Cast of Jesse ep, the 2000 Majandra Delfino ep, and the Oct 11th 2001 Angelica Bridges ep. Art of Brewing story is found in the first set of clips, with a classic round of gambling during the Majandra ep and Adam’s two rarest stories told back to back in the classic Bridges ep.

GIO Episode 6 G.I.O. Get It On Episode #6 Freeway On-Ramps and Island Prisons, this ep starts with a short clip from a 2004 Jack Osbourne ep then a short clip from the 2003 ep with guest Cold. The main body of the ep is the Jan 4th 1998 ep, the May 19th 1998 Darrell Hammond ep and the 2004 ep with the classic freeway incident. There are a couple other random clips thrown in as well.

Get It On Episode #7The Ass show vol 1 Not NormalHuman Emissions.This opens with the Scientology incident aftermath featuring Kennedy from early November 1997 and then Leah Remini from later in the week, it also contains clips from 1997, 1998, and 2000. The 6 episodes of Titus LL are some of the shows best, he was legendary on LL and was able to go from a name correcting jerk to one of the all time greatest LL guests, able to transition from comedy to genuine insight like few other guests.

Make sure to look out for the Killer Clowns from Outerspace conversation, the Caller regarding DRIP, The two nieces of Titus, his Foos custom, the Tragic Rimshots incident when he discusses his sister for the first time, Creepy Stepdad Squad, the various crimes of his and others he admits to and all the other super rare topics he only brought up on LL in the middle of the night one time, the stuff that never even made it into his act.

Some of the noted conversations from the last post take place in this volume, I always listen in order as one long episode just like this pretty much is so I’ve lost track, but also make sure be on the look out for the Stacy Keach at Heathrow story, the Omega Man bit and the Jizzler discussion as well as all the cool potential tv pilots including Special Unit which he is now adapting into a movie and the showtime pilot can be found on youtube.

I hope to be able to talk soon and record some interviews/intros/outros but until then this is the best I can do.

do you know if jim carolla has done any other podcasts. i found his first podcast about parenting very interesting and he said he was going to continue explaining parenting methods in another podcast but i havent dseen any oter podcast from him . can you suggest something to adam to maybe give his father a show on the ace broadcasting network.

  The website is not yet up but on itunes there is a page devoted to Jim’s new show, they already put out a new promo clip, “Life Stories with Jim Carolla” search for Adam Carolla in the itunes store and you’ll find the show under the podcast results.
